This interview features Martin Jacobson, the winningest high school soccer coach in New York City history.
He coaches Martin Luther King, Jr. High School in Manhattan. His teams have won the coveted Public School Athletic League Championship, the largest and oldest high school league in the country, more than any other team.

Martin Jacobson is a recovering heroin addict with over 24 years of abstinence, He has transformed his life to help his players “get a better life”. Coach Jake,as he is affectionately called by his players, works with mostly new immigrants who hail from all over the world. He has placed hundreds of players in college and a number of gifted athletes into the professional ranks.

New Yorker Magazine editor and well known author, Ben Greenman, has submitted a book proposal on Coach Jacobson's life and the sale of the project is imminent. Coach Jake's life rights have been purchased and an option to produce a major motion picture is currently in development.
